Fres-co System USA, Inc. is a manufacturer of high-performance, sustainable and customized flexible packaging solutions and packaging innovations for dry and liquid applications in the coffee, food & beverage, specialty and pet food markets. When they needed a partner for cohesive branding, marketing and advertising, they turned to Timmons&Company.
We started by creating a brand that reflected Fres-co’s leadership position in the flexible packaging industry. We refreshed their logo and gave them a new tagline. “The Freshest Ideas in Flexible Packaging.” The brand messaging and imagery we created was designed to convey freshness, a central value of the Fres-co product line, and create positive associations in the prospect and customer’s mind. Using their new brand, we then created their Corporate Capabilities Brochure.
Our next mission was to revamp their website. We designed and developed their site with their new brand, optimized it for search engines (SEO) and cross-linked the site with other relevant industry sites. In the first year the new site went live, total visits increased by 16%, visits from search engines increased by 37%, traffic from Google increased by 19%, average time on website increased by 44% while their bounce rate decreased by 10%. In the extremely competitive packaging industry, Fres-co needed a display that differentiated them from competitors while also reflecting the depth and breadth of their capabilities. Using their newly created brand, we developed a dynamic trade show display designed to attract booth traffic with large, eye-grabbing visuals representative of their main market focuses (coffee, food & beverage, pet food & specialty). We also created multiple displays within their booth to enhance attendee interaction and engagement. These trade shows efforts were usually coordinated with pre-show communications to drive booth traffic and post-show communication to cultivate leads.
With the growing global and industry focus on the need for sustainable packaging solutions, we created a brochure to emphasize Fres-co’s ability to help their customers package their products with reduced waste, CO2 emissions, energy usage and total packaging costs. The brochure featured high-level overviews of their sustainable offering as well as real-world case studies of how they helped their customers implement sustainable solutions.
We helped Fres-co create multiple print advertising campaigns for several of their offerings. From innovative equipment and packaging formats for the coffee market to a completely new package for frozen food, our creative stood out among the competition and delivered a real benefit to their customer. These campaigns were often augmented with additional digital components such as eblasts and landing pages to further raise awareness and generate sales leads.
