The challenge

Community Interactions is a nonprofit that provides residential, day and community services for people with intellectual disabilities, autism and dual diagnoses in Pennsylvania and Delaware. It runs about 60 residential programs.
One website has to serve very different people: families searching for care, case managers making referrals, job seekers applying for direct-support roles, and donors and volunteers. Each needs a clear, respectful path to the right information.

What we do

Timmons&Company designed and built the website, and runs a monthly SEO and content program for it.

A website built around each audience

Clear paths for families (services and admissions), referral partners (make a referral), job seekers (careers, application and onboarding) and supporters (donate, volunteer, gifts in kind).

Service pages by state and city

Dedicated pages for services in Pennsylvania and Delaware, plus a Wilmington page, so families searching locally find the right programs.

Monthly SEO program

Keyword research and page optimization built around services and markets: titles, descriptions and content on the homepage, services overview, and Pennsylvania and Delaware pages.

Technical and local SEO

Regular reviews of indexing, crawlability, sitemaps, structured data, business listings and site health.

Measured every month

Monthly ranking reports guide the next round of optimization.

Content

Clear, people-first content that explains services, admissions, safety and self-advocacy in plain language.

Families search for a service and a place. State and city pages match those searches.

Step 3

Plain, respectful language

Content that answers real questions at a stressful time.
Step 4

Steady monthly work

SEO and content improve the site every month, not once.
